Why ?

Well, people keep telling me I don’t have a linkedin account, and well, I don’t want one. I already have too many social media accounts! Each addition is a time sink that needs to be accommodated. At the moment, between my GitLab GitHub, Facebook, Twitter, the 11 Slack I’m a member of, and my emails, well I don’t see why I should add more time load. Therfore, I am building a website instead.

Long overdue

Well to be honnest it has been long overdue… I’ve been meaning to build a Jekyll website for a long time now. I’m finally getting around to doing it. I chose the Moon Theme (https://github.com/TaylanTatli/Moon) because I really like how it looks! The floating menu on the left, the about, the social media buttons. I really like the feel of it.

Let’s try to keep it updated.

I will try and add more posts, I have many different posts that are overdue on different DIY projects and academic tutorials I’ve written that will never be published in a journal. Therefore I’ll try to make them exist here. This place should be the home of all my different crazy projects I’ve done! It’s time for some documentation and sharing. I’ve been using the web forever, the web is my teacher, it is time to give back!
